'Papa of records', Do Bronx reveals extra motivation to stay at the top of the lightweight division

New champion of the category, Brazilian explains the number he intends to beat as leader of the UFC group

After becoming the second Brazilian to win the lightweight belt (under 70,3kg), Charles knows that it is important to stay focused to stay at the top. In an exclusive interview with SUPER FIGHTS, the athlete was asked about his ambitions in the division. For the champion, although he already has the title under his belt, there is still something to achieve and the fighter assures that he will pursue new historical achievements.

“I'm making history. Greatest finisher in the history of Ultimate, lightweight champion. I learned today that the champion only defended his belt three times. It's the record. 'Forget it' (laughs). We're going to break this (break the record). Let's pass. Breaking records, making history and increasing my legacy,” he said.
