In the film starring Stallone, released in 1985, Rocky Balboa goes to Russia to avenge the death of his friend and trainer, Apollo Creed. The main character's coach, played by Carl Weathers, dies a tragic death when he accepts an exhibition fight against Ivan Drago, but, in the confrontation, he ends up severely punished, suffering a fatal knockout.

The fight against Drago exposes Rocky to a historic and decisive punishment for the franchise's sequel. Although he won the fight with an exciting knockout and avenged Apollo, the character subsequently suffers from the after-effects of the traumatic blows dealt by Ivan.

The context for the confrontation between Blachowicz and Teixeira is nothing like the situation exposed in the film. Jan, however, wanted to take advantage of the view of the mountains to play with the situation.

PUBLICITY:

"Are you there? No one is going to knock me from the top,” wrote Blachowicz.

No UFC 266, Blachowicz will try to maintain his 100% as category champion. In March, the Pole made his first title defense, frustrating plans to Israel adesanya in winning his second belt in the organization.

PUBLICITY:

Experiencing a great moment in his career, Teixeira is heading towards what could be his last chance to reach the absolute top of the light heavyweight division. At 41 years old, the Brazilian has won five consecutive victories and will, for the second time, compete for the title in the organization.
