Usman says McGregor has become an ordinary fighter and says: 'He's not the same anymore'

Welterweight champion, Nigerian says he continues to respect the Irishman, but understands that his peak in the sport has passed

The rise of rivalry between Kamaru Usman e Conor McGregor got a new chapter. After 'Notorious' stating that he could move up a division, the welterweight champion (up to 77kg.) seems not to be excited about the possibility. According to him, the Irishman is not at his peak and has become an ordinary fighter.

“He is no longer the ConorMcGregor he was when he was champion. He is no longer the old hungry McGregor that fighters respected. Not that we no longer respect him, but he is no longer the same. He's still in Ultimate, but he's just an ordinary fighter,” said Usman in an interview with 'ESPN' North-American.
