Although he came close to making a superfight official against multi-time boxing champion Anthony Joshua, the fate of Tyson Fury appears to be another. According to 'ESPN', the current WBC (World Boxing Confederation) heavyweight champion's commitment will be the historic trilogy against Deontay Wilder. According to the agency, the clash will take place on July 24, at the T-Mobile Arena, in Las Vegas (USA).

For fans of the 'noble art', the reunion between Fury and Wilder represents a lot for the sport. The two faced each other on two occasions, once in 2018 and once in 2020.
The first time they exchanged forces, the confrontation ended with a controversial result, criticized by fans and the specialized press. Champion at the time, Deontay kept the belt after a draw in a fight marked by balance.
Willing to have another opportunity to face Wilder, Tyson made two appearances before returning to share the ring with his rival. After two consecutive victories, Fury then had his reckoning confirmed.
In 2020, the story was different. With the WBO title at stake, Tyson took no notice of the then champion, who was undefeated in his boxing career, with 42 wins and one draw on his professional record. Wilder, however, suffered a harsh setback, being knocked out by Fury in the seventh round, in a fight scheduled for 12 rounds.
After taking away his opponent's unbeaten record in February 2020 and winning one of the most important belts in the category, Tyson remains undefeated in his career. The athlete did not win a commitment only in the draw against Wilder, more than two years ago.
