Retired since May 2020, Henry Cejudo seems really willing to resume his MMA career. Former double Ultimate champion, the North American once again spoke out about a possible return to the sport. On his social networks, the athlete sent a direct message to UFC president, Dana White and mentioned possible opponents.

“Dana, you have a 'walking champion' in flyweight and a paper champion and 'Oscar winner' (aljamain sterling) in roosters. I want to be the crocodile hunter (Alexander Volkanovsky). I feel generous and I'm here to help you make America great again. Cejudo to the rescue”, wrote Cejudo on his 'Instagram' profile.
Champion in two categories for the organization, Cejudo makes it clear that he can 'float' between three divisions. Former flyweight (up to 56,7kg) and bantamweight (up to 61,2kg) champion, the North American has never hidden his desire to face Alexander Volkanovsky, leader of featherweights (up to 65,7kg.).
Ready to resume his career, Cejudo has not performed since UFC 249. On that occasion, the athlete faced the legendary Dominick Cruz and made history by scoring the first knockout in his opponent's career. After the triumph, the fighter, still in the octagon, announced his retirement.
At 34 years old, Henry debuted in MMA in 2013. The 34-year-old fighter, who is also an Olympic medalist, has 16 positive results and two negative results.
