The night of Saturday, May 15th, was special for Charles of the Bronx. The Brazilian, who, upon knocking out Michael chandler, won the lightweight belt (up to 70.3 kg.) in the UFC 262, also broke two franchise records.

The second-round knockout against Chandler was the Brazilian's 17th victory before the end of regulation time. In doing so, it surpasses Donald Cerrone (16) and becomes the only record holder.
The other brand broken by Charles of the Bronx it belonged to the former middleweight champion (up to 83.9kg.) Michael Bisping.
