The women debuted in style in Ultimate. The victory of Ronda Rousey about Liz Carmouche at UFC 157, an event held last Saturday (23), brought great publicity to the show. But when it comes to salary, men are still well ahead of women within the organization. The California Athletic Commission, the entity that sanctioned UFC 157, released the scholarships paid to the fighters and the North American Dan Henderson got the highest salary. Even defeated by Lyoto Machida, the former light heavyweight champion received US$250, around R$500. His executioner ended up with US$200.

With much more modest numbers, Ronda Rousey He received US$90, around R$180, to star in the main fight of the night and submit Carmouche, who received US$12 in salary.
