For Jake Paul, victory over Ben Askren brings him closer to superfight against Conor McGregor

Beating an MMA icon seems not to have been enough to Jake Paul. Executioner of Ben Askren in last weekend's show, the YouTuber continues dreaming of a superfight against the legendary Conor McGregor. For the digital influencer, the attack on the former Bellator and ONE Championship champion brings desire closer to reality.

"We will see. There are a lot of people, but honestly, when it comes to signing the contract, these guys are ducks. The fight against McGregor just got more real. As I've been saying: I just want big fights”, said Paul, in an interview with 'MMA Junkie'.

The triumph over Askren confirmed Paul's 100% achievement in the 'noble art'. In the confrontation, the YouTuber didn't give the veteran a chance, who succumbed after a fatal combination, which led to a knockout.

Beaten, the ex-MMA tried to get up, but, shaken, he was prevented from continuing in the confrontation. The referee of the match declared Jake's victory less than two minutes into the duel.

After putting on a show in front of Ben, Jake confirmed the success of the event on social media. According to the digital influencer, the show sold 1,5 million pay-per-views, which earned Paul good figures.
