Light heavyweight champion Vadim Nemkov says he doesn't feel pressure at the Bellator GP

Current leader of the under-93kg group, the Russian demonstrated that he is calm for the duel against Phil Davis this Friday (16th), valid for the category's Grand Prix

Even though he is the current light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg), Vadim nemkov declared that he does not feel pressured in his fight against Phil Davis No. Bellator 257 this Friday (16), also valid for the GP of the division. The Russian stated that the key to not losing his peace of mind is not to get complacent and declared that he was happy with the level he had reached in the organization. The statement was given in the 'half day' of the show.

“There is no pressure on me. I know I'm the champion but I enter this tournament as a hungry fighter. I don’t put any pressure on myself,” said Nemkov.

The current belt holder was happy to see his face on posters advertising the event throughout the gym and promised to reciprocate all the treatment received by the organization.

“I'm very proud to be at this level. Bellator made posters with my face and my photo is in the arena. I like. I am very happy that the company trusts me. I'm working hard with my team to give back and show them that we are also very happy to be in the organization”, concluded the Russian.

In a great moment in his career, the veteran is on a streak of three consecutive victories and is looking to avenge his last defeat.
