Former Bellator champion, Dudu Dantas signs contract with German event

After nine years in the organization chaired by Scott Coker, the Brazilian is now part of the squad for the European event 'Elite MMA Championship'

Former Bellator bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg), Dudu Dantas He has a new house. Through your'Instagram', the Brazilian announced that he signed a contract with the German event 'Elite MMA Championship'. The Nova União fighter's debut date and opponent have not yet been announced.

On the social network, Dudu Dantas He was grateful for the opportunity to work for the organization and was excited about the new phase of his career.

A Bellator representative from 2011 to 2019, Dudu has a record of 21 wins and seven losses. In 2012, the Nova União athlete became bantamweight champion after beating Zach Makovsky. Two years later, the Brazilian was dethroned by Joe Warren, however, he regained the belt in 2016 by defeating his compatriot Marcos Loro Galvão.

In his last fight for the organization chaired by Scott Coker, Dantas was defeated by Juan Archuleta, in June 2019. Since then, the Brazilian has not fought professionally in MMA.
