Former interim champion of the category, Justin gaethje He’s in no rush to get back to the octagon. According to his manager, Ali Abdelaziz, the American is the best lightweight currently and is waiting for the right opportunity to present himself. Asked about the future of Justin gaethje, the businessman states that there is no rush for his athlete to perform again. According to him, the aim is to put him in a fight at the top of the division.
“I don’t think they’re business (issues) right now. I think I just have to fight the right fight. I see a lot of people calling him. You can't just stay away from lightweight for six years and come back and try to fight the number two guy. You have to win this”, added the manager.
At 32, Justin gaethje last performed at the UFC 252, in farewell to Khabib Nurmagomedov. At the time, the North American was submitted in the second round. In his career, there are 22 wins and three losses in his career.
