UFC announces agreement with two more women

Sara McMann and Alexis Davis arrive in the women's bantamweight category, which now has six names

The Ultimate organization announced two more signings for the women's bantamweight category (up to 61,2 kg): Sara McMann e Alexis Davis. The two join the champion Ronda Rousey and also to Liz Carmouche, Miesha Tate e Zingano cat to make up the division’s roster of athletes.

The North American Sara McMann, 32 years old, is a former Olympic wrestling athlete and won several titles in the sport. She was an Olympic medalist in the up to 63 kg category at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro-2007 and in Santo Domingo-2003. In addition, she was a silver medalist at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games in the same category. Since she began her MMA career in 2011, McMann has won all six of her fights.

Yes, Alexis Davis is a veteran of MMA, a sport she has practiced professionally since 2007. In her career, the 28-year-old Canadian has had 18 fights, winning 13 of them and losing another five. Davis has already fought for events such as Strikeforce, Invicta FC and Raging Wolf. In the last of them, she is a former champion of the flyweight category.
