Ready to end his retirement, which has lasted almost a year, Henry Cejudo wants to continue making history. Former double UFC champion, the North American reinforced his desire to shock the world and win a third belt in different categories in the company. In an interview with 'Combate', 'Triplo C' took stock of his career and reinforced his desire to test himself against Alexander Volkanovsky e Max Holloway in featherweight (up to 65,7kg.).

“I want to do things in sport that no one has done. I want the belt up to 66kg (up to 65,7kg.). I want money, gold, I was going to say women too, but I have a girlfriend, I can't (laughs). I've fought a lot, I'm satisfied, if I never fight, I'll be happier. I need something to give to my future family. In all my life, the only thing I know is competition, is competition. Neither Khabib (Nurmagomedov), nor Jon Jones, these guys can't say they've done so much in the sport. Neither of them won an Olympic medal. I am Olympic champion, flyweight (up to 56,7kg) and bantamweight (up to 61,2kg). I am very satisfied with my career. No one has done as much as 'Triple C”, said the athlete.

With a successful career in MMA, Cejudo already has plans to join the featherweight division, which is currently led by Alexander Volkanovsky. According to the North American, the Australian does not represent such a great danger. Henry, however, explains that he also intends to test himself against the former group champion, Max Holloway. In this second case, the fighter sees the challenge as a bigger problem.

“I have two fights left. The reason for this is that no one believes that I can win. One is against (Alexander) Volkanovski, and I know he doesn't want to. He's as short as me. And another one I would like to fight with is Max Holloway. That would be 'David versus Goliath'. I want to show that I can win and for you to become my fans. I may not be the best in the world, but I can compete better than anyone else. A lot of people don't like the person I am, but you're going to watch my fight”, he concluded.
