The Brazilian Rogério Minotouro took no notice of Rashad evans at UFC 156, an event held last Saturday (o2), in Las Vegas, and established himself as one of the organization's main light heavyweights. However, despite the victory in the unanimous decision of the judges, the Brazilian athlete will have to wait some time to return to combat. The Nevada Athletic Commission, the entity that sanctioned the show, announced the fighters' medical suspensions and Minotouro is on hold for an indefinite period.
Rogério, who suffered an injury to his right eye during the clash, is out of action until an ophthalmologist clears him to return to training.
Two other Brazilians were also suspended after UFC 156. Antonio Pezão He is out until March 5th due to a cut on his chin, while Gleison Tibau is out until the 24th for precautionary reasons.

Francisco Rivera: Suspended until August 2 due to an injury to his right hand. May be released sooner by an orthopedic doctor after an X-ray; Minimum suspension until March 20th, no contact in training until March 5th.
Evan dunham: Suspended until August 2 due to a possible fracture in the right orbit. It can be released earlier by an ophthalmologist or plastic surgeon; Minimum suspension until February 24th, no training contact until February 17th.
Jay Hieron: Suspended until April 4, no contact training until March 20 for precautionary reasons.
alistair overeem: Suspended until March 20, no contact training until March 5 for precautionary reasons.
Antonio Pezão: Suspended until March 5th, no training contact until February 24th due to a cut on his chin.
Jacob Volkman: Suspended until March 5th, no training contact until February 24th due to right eye injury.
Yves Edwards: Suspended until March 5, no contact in training until February 24 due to a cut over his left eye.
Joseph Benavidez: Suspended until February 24th, no training contact until February 17th due to a cut on his forehead.
Gleison Tibau: Suspended until February 24th, no training contact until February 17th for precautionary reasons.
Chico Camus: Suspended until February 24th, no training contact until February 17th for precautionary reasons.
Edwin figueroa: Suspended until February 24, no contact in training until February 17 due to a cut over his left eye.
