ONE Championship remains attentive to market opportunities. The Asian event, which had already agreed with Brazilian Marcus Buchecha, agreed with Gordon Ryan. Known as 'The King', the North American is ready to compete in the grapple and martial arts with the company's gloves. The information was released by the organization's president, Chatri Sityodtong, on his social networks.

“Breaking news: Gordon Ryan has signed with ONE Championship to (compete in) both Martial Arts and submission events,” said the official.

Controversial, the North American was involved in a recent controversy with André Galvão, behind the scenes of the WNO, jiu-jitsu event held in Texas. At the time, the fighters were surprised and, after a fight, Ryan attacked the Brazilian.
