Croatian Mirko Cro Cop is ready to return to the ring. After defeating Japanese Tatsuya Mizuno in March, the former Pride absolute champion was injured and ended up missing the last editions of Dream. Now recovered, Mirko says he is ready to return.
“My knee is excellent. I don’t have any problems and I’m ready for my next fight.” he stated.
Cro Cop stated that he will fight again on September 23rd, at Dream 6 and intends to face the Dutchman alistair overeem
“I would like to fight against alistair overeem. I really don't know why he said those things about me (Overeem publicly criticized Cro Cop and said that the Croatian chose opponents). I never chose my opponents. That kind of talk isn't my style, but I'd like to tell him to save his strength for the ring, not talking. I really want this fight”, he said in an interview with the website Index HR
