Back in Ultimate, TJ Dillashaw faces Cory Sandhagen on May 8th

Former bantamweight champion returns to the octagon after suspension for doping and faces second in the ranking, who comes from victories over Marlon Moraes and Frankie Edgar

After just over two years away from Ultimate, TJ Dillashaw finally makes his way back to the Octagon. The former bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg) faces Cory Sandhagen in the main fight of the event held on May 8th, with no location announced yet. The information was released by 'ESPN' North-American.

Without performing since January 2019, when he was knocked out by Henry Cejudo in an attempt to win the flyweight belt (up to 56,7kg) – which would be his second in Ultimate, TJ Dillashaw was caught in a surprise drug test. Furthermore, the North American also had his bantamweight title (up to 61,2kg) taken away. In January of this year, the suspension ended and he was free to return to the cage. Currently, Dillashaw has a record of 16 wins and four losses in his career.
