Erick's brother, Gabriel Silva arrived in Ultimate as a promising Brazilian in the bantamweight category (up to 61,2kg). Known as 'Fenômeno Capixaba', the fighter was undefeated in his career before debuting with UFC gloves.

For Ultimate, however, Gabriel was unable to perform well. In two presentations, the athlete ended up defeated by Ray Borg and, subsequently, lost to Kyler Phillips. Silva leaves the company without victories.

Also at bantamweight, Geraldo de Freitas, the 'Espartano', had one more fight than his compatriot in the UFC. With three clashes, the Brazilian won on his debut against Felipe Cabocão. The Minas Gerais trajectory, however, became complicated after two negative results in a row. After the defeats to Chris Gutierrez e Tony Gravely, the combatant ended up cut.
