Dana White reveals the possibility of promoting events with maximum capacity: 'We will be the first'

Since the return of Ultimate with a ban on spectators in the arenas, president Dana White stated that he was working for the return of fans. Now, the attempt has gained another chapter. At a press conference at UFC 259, the 'big boss' indicated that there is the possibility of holding an event with maximum capacity in Texas, in the United States. The initiative comes after the announcement by the governor, Greg Abbott, who decreed the end of preventive measures at the site.

“Yes, as soon as the governor of Texas said that, I called. Dallas declined the possibility and now I'm working in Houston. We'll see if we can close it. I want to go to Texas as soon as possible. I will go in the next two, three weeks. I'm ready to start. We will be the first and we will follow our path”, revealed Dana White.

Asked when there would be a chance for fans to return to events, Dana says there are negotiations underway to change the card. UFC 260, which is scheduled to take place on March 27th.

"It could be. Let's see what happens. I'm ready for it. I told everyone that I would be the first to return with the public. If we can do it, we will do it”, concluded the agent.
