Middleweight champion publishes photomontage on Twitter in which he "stares himself" and repeats joke from 2011

Anderson Silva faces himself

The Brazilian Anderson Silva seems to have resolved all the problems and put an end to the controversy surrounding his upcoming belt defense. Shortly after the news was released in which Dana White – president of the UFC – confirmed that the “Spider” had rejected a fight against the North American Chris Weidman, Anderson went to Twitter and responded with great humor. The Brazilian published an image on his account of himself looking at himself and commented: “Eventually Dana’s problems (are over)”.

This is not the first time that Anderson Silva He plays with the possibility of being his own challenger. Shortly after the first edition of UFC Rio, in August 2011, he suggested something similar during the press conference, after having overwhelmingly beaten the Japanese Yushin Okami. Asked who would be the opponent capable of facing him later, the Brazilian did not hesitate. “My clone”, he replied amid laughter from those present.
