With vaccination against Covid-19 advancing in the United States, UFC president, Dana White, is beginning to plan the return of fans at the franchise's events. In a press conference after the UFC 258, last Saturday (13), the organization's representative advanced the company's plans to receive the public without restrictions and with the maximum capacity of the arenas.

“I have plans. I'm not just looking for a percentage of the audience. It's really cool here (at UFC Apex, event headquarters in Las Vegas). I like it here. I said the other day that I was optimistic that before the second semester we could be doing this, whether in Florida or here (in Las Vegas),” White said.
The UFC has not held an event with an audience in the United States since March 2020, when Covid-19 cases spiked in the country and health restrictions began. In January this year, the franchise allowed a small group of fans at the three events that took place in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates, (around 10% of the arena's capacity). Among the events held with restricted public presence was the UFC 257, had Dustin poirier x Conor McGregor in the main fight.
