The 35-year-old athlete was challenged by ‘youtuber' Jake Paul for a boxing match, and upon becoming aware of the invitation, he did not rule out that the duel could take place in the near future.
The former challenger for the UFC lightweight belt (up to 70 kg) stated that the duel against the internet personality will happen in the future. The rivalry began when Jake challenged some MMA athletes, including Connor McGregor. Diaz was uncomfortable with the stance adopted by the youtuber and both exchanged barbs on social media.

“I (have no interest in facing him) at the moment, but in the future, for sure. He was saying some things about fighting to McGregor. You're challenging us to a boxing match. No one will talk, not even McGregor wants to give him any audience. Someone needs to tell this guy to shut up,” Diaz told the ‘ESPN' American.
Nate diaz hasn't fought for the UFC since November 2019, when he was knocked out by Jorge masvidal in the dispute for the ‘BMF’ belt. Before that, he won Anthony Pettis (2019) and had two explosive duels against Connor McGregor (in 2016), where he won the first by submission and was defeated by decision in the rematch.
