After seeing the audience success in the fight that marked the return of Mike Tyson to the ring, Evander Holyfield is still more than willing to return to action. At 58 years old, the veteran continues to insist on a trilogy against the 'Iron Man' against whom he fought in 1996 and 1997. According to the former world heavyweight champion, a third fight would yield millions of dollars in his fifties.

“The only thing I hear people saying is that they want a fight between Mike and me. I think it will make a lot of money, many millions. I think about US$100 million (around R$534 million). It would be big, because everyone wants it,” said Holyfield, in an interview with 'Last Stand Podcast'.

Since Tyson announced that he would return to performing after more than 15 years of inactivity, Evander has also resumed his exercise routine and, since 2020, has expressed his desire to return to the ring. After the super fight between Mike and Roy Jones Jr., which ended in a draw, Holyfield began the saga to try to face his old rival for the third time.

Upon learning of Evander's attack, Tyson never hid that he was open to confrontation. Although he had an exhibition match in November, the veteran surprised with his movement followed by his powerful strikes.
