Bantam weight (up to 61,2 kg.), Cory Sandhagen, is already thinking about the next steps before guaranteeing the title fight in the category. After knocking out his compatriot Frankie Edgar in just 28 seconds UFC Las Vegas 18, the North American welcomes a future confrontation against TJ Dillashaw e cody garbrandt.

“I would fight TJ (Dillashaw) or (Cody) Garbrandt. As opponents, they're both super tough, man. Both were former champions. I never like to think that just because I want the fights, I will get them. But I think when you lock me in the octagon with these guys, I won't lose,” said Sandhagen, in an interview with the radio program 'SiriusXM'.
The North American also spoke about his relationship with TJ Dillashaw. According to him, the two even trained together, but he lost respect for the former champion after being suspended for using anabolic steroids. The athlete also says that there is a certain fear of being overtaken in the title race.
“TJ (Dillashaw) and I were training partners, but it's kind of hard to have respect for that guy after the suspension and the use of steroids. I think I'm next in line and it would be a real bummer if one of them jumped in front of me. I mean, they're a little more mainstream and that's the business side of the sport. But as an opponent, I wouldn’t let any of these opponents beat me”, concluded the fighter.
Cory Sandhagen, 28 years old, is close to competing for the category belt. The North American is coming off victories against Marlon moraes e Frankie Edgar, both by knockout. Currently, he has a record of 14 wins and two losses, in addition to occupying 2nd place in the division rankings.
