One of the highlights in light weight (up to 70,3kg.), Carlos Diego Ferreira does not want to hear about regretting the defeat suffered last Saturday (6), by UFC Las Vegas 18. Defeated in the rematch against Beneil Dariush, the Brazilian showed maturity when facing the setback and promised to come back better. The Amazonian hasn't lost in six fights.

“I would like to thank everyone for their support. I'm not sad, because I gave my best in this fight and it was my fault I left the decision to the judges. I'm happy to have my family and teammates always by my side. That's all I need right now. I will be ready for whatever comes next”, wrote the Brazilian, in his account on Instagram.
Last weekend, Ferreira and Dariush promoted the repeat of a 2014 duel. In the first meeting, the North American had gotten the better of the Amazonian. For the UFC Las Vegas 18, the combatants staged a balanced confrontation and, after three rounds, Beneil was declared the winner in a split decision.
In addition to agreeing to face the dangerous Dariush for the second time, Diego stepped into the octagon to defend an undefeated streak of six fights. With the setback, the Brazilian should lose 10th place in the group to the executioner.
Diego hadn't performed in over a year. In his last commitment, the Amazonian had a gala performance against the former champion of the category, Anthony Pettis, finishing ‘Showtime’ in the second round, in UFC 246.
