With Denis Siver out, Dustin Poirier is announced as Cub Swanson's opponent

Ultimate does not disclose the reason for the replacement, but confirms the change of opponents in the UFC on Fuel TV 7 duel

The UFC announced, through its official account on Twitter in the United Kingdom (@UFC_UK), that Denis Siver is out of UFC on Fuel TV 7. The event will be held on February 16th at Wembley Arena, a gym located right next to the football stadium of the same name, in London. The organization did not provide the reasons for the removal of the Russian naturalized German, but has already confirmed the North American Dustin poirier as his replacement in the fight against Cub swanson.

Dustin poirier had his last fight for the UFC just over a month ago, at the event where the UFC finals were held. The Ultimate Fighter 16. On that occasion, Poiorier submitted Jonathan Brookins in the first round. His opponent, also the North American Cub swanson, comes from three consecutive victories in the featherweight category – the last one over the Brazilian Charles of the Bronx.

UFC on Fuel TV 7 will have as its main fight of the night the fight for the interim belt in the featherweight division, currently held by Renan Barao. The Brazilian will put the interim title up for grabs against the American Michael McDonald. Both fighters have an impressive record in professional MMA: 29-1 (1 NC) for Barão and 15-1 for McDonald. The fight will mark the first defense of the interim belt by the Brazilian, after winning the title against Urijah faber in July last year.
