Stipe Miocic already know what to do to defend the heavyweight belt (up to 120,2kg.) against Francis Ngannou, in the main attraction of UFC 260, which takes place on March 27th. In the first fight between the two, in 2018, the champion dominated his opponent in the five rounds. For the rematch, the strategy is to bet on evolution as a fighter and speed for another title defense.

“I know I'm getting older, but I've gotten wiser and I have some new tricks up my sleeve. (They say) you can't teach an old dog new tricks, which is a lie. I've learned a lot since our last fight and it will be the same result. I'm going to leave there with the belt around my waist”, said Miocic, in an interview with the podcast 'oral sessions'.
Still on the fight, Stipe believes that his speed will make the difference this time. In the first fight, he bet on his wrestling to control the Cameroonian.
“Time and speed. It's all about speed. Speed kills, and that's something we've really worked on in recent camps fighting against Daniel Cormier”, added the fighter.
Besides Stipe Miocic e Francis Ngannou: UFC 260 will also feature a fight between the featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovsky and the challenger Brian ortega. The Brazilians Thomas almeida, Johnny Walker e Vincent Luque will take action against Sean O'Malley, Jimmy crute e Tyron woodleyrespectively.
