It's family! Umar Nurmagomedov, cousin of lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg.) Khabib, made his surname count to start his journey in Ultimate on the right foot. The 24-year-old Russian applied a rear-naked choke in the second round to defeat Sergey Morozov, on the preliminary card of the UFC Fight Island 8, this Wednesday (20), in Abu Dhabi. The 'Eagle' was present in the corner, to assist in his family member's debut.

Umar made an even better debut than his cousin, Khabib Nurmagomedov. The current lightweight champion joined the UFC in 2012, against Kamal Shalorus and won by submission in the third round. With the result, Umar increases his unbeaten record in his MMA career and now has 13 victories on his professional record.
THE FIGHT
The duel began with Umar taking the initiative and attacking the legs to take down his opponent. Khabib's cousin 'tapped' the Kazakh and reached his back, but Morozov knew how to deal with the situation and got up. The fight, however, did not remain standing for long, as Nurmagomedov once again knocked down his rival before the end of the round.
On the way back, the Russian threw a beautiful shot at Morozov, who felt the blow. Umar went up and again dived for the legs. Quickly, Nurmagomedov got to the back and managed to lock in the rear naked choke. Sergey couldn't resist and passed out in the Octagon.
