The Brazilian athlete started the duel at a fast pace, working strikes in the clinch and taking down the Japanese woman. On the ground, India worked strikes from above and almost ended the contest with a rear-naked choke and then an arm-bar, which were defended by their rival.
With an advantage on the cards after the first two rounds of control, Ediane managed the advantage and even suffered some risk in the last part. But, despite the risk, the Brazilian won the dispute in a unanimous decision.
In another fight involving a Brazilian athlete, Amanda nunes couldn’t find himself in front of Sarah D’Alelio. The Brazilian, who is also known as the “Leoa dos Ringes”, did not impose her striking against her rival.
