Veteran's career Diego Sanchez in MMA is close to having an end. The 39-year-old American announced on his account on 'Twitter' who will retire after his next fight, despite not yet having an official opponent.

Known for the wars fought in the Octagon, Diego Sanchez began his career in 2002 and debuted in the UFC in 2005, after winning the first edition of the 'The Ultimate Fighter' (TUF), against Kenny Florian. Since then, he has a record of 30 wins and 13 losses as a professional.
In his last fight, held at UFC 253, suffered a setback against the Australian Jake matthews, in the unanimous decision of the judges.
