UFC flyweight champion (up to 56,7kg) since July 2020, Deiveson Figueiredo definitely managed to catch the attention of the organization's former double champion, Henry Cejudo. After provoking the North American and insisting on a super fight, 'Triplo C' has been showing up on social media and, on a recent visit to Brazil, he once again responded to the Pará native's attacks.

“I like him (Deiveson), but he can't last more than two rounds with me. He doesn't have wrestling. I think I'm more Brazilian than him. For me, he 'is from Paraguay'. He's taking care of my belt like a babysitter. When I decide to return, the title will return to me”, said the North American, in an interview with 'Combate'.

Without fighting for almost a year, Cejudo never hid the fact that he would return to the octagon if he received a financial offer that he considered undeniable. Now, being constantly challenged by the organization's new favorite, Henry admits to analyzing the case with different eyes.

“I need to talk to Dana White and see how much money we are talking about. I miss fighting, but I need the motivation to do it. If he gives me what I want, the 'God of War' will face 'Triple C'. I’m going to knock him out,” he finished.

While Cejudo 'enjoys' his retirement, Figueiredo has proven that he wants to be an 'exemplary employee' for Ultimate. At the end of last year, the athlete made history by defending his belt twice in 21 days.
