Former UFC fighter Paige VanZant debuts in bare-knuckle boxing in February against rival with a negative record

Former Ultimate 'darling', North American faces Britain Hart, who has two wins in 10 professional fights

Former UFC 'darling', paige vanzant he already has a date and opponent for his debut in Bare Knuckle FC (boxing without gloves). After signing a contract with the organization in the second half of 2020, the American had her debut confirmed for February 5, when she faces Britain Hart, in Florida (USA). VanZant and her rival made the agreement official on their social networks.

Paige left Ultimate after the quick defeat suffered by Amanda ribas, in July, at UFC 251. The confrontation marked the last fight in the North American's contract, which she ended up not renewing after the setback to the Brazilian.

Weeks later, VanZant shocked the world by announcing his move to Bare Knuckle FC. The fighter was consulted by Bellator, but preferred to test herself in bare-knuckle boxing.

Paige's rival for February, Britain has a negative record in martial arts, according to 'Tapology'. There are 10 fights, with only two positive results in clashes divided between bare-knuckle boxing and traditional boxing. In his last appearance, in November 2020, Hart recorded his first BKFC win.

In recent months, VanZant has intensified his preparation to debut in bare-knuckle boxing. The athlete perfects her striking in the renowned American Top Team.
