After confirming his return to the ring for an exhibition fight against the YouTube Logan Paul, the legendary Floyd Mayweather ended up receiving two challenges to face renowned boxers in the history of the sport. Former victims of 'Money', Canelo Alvarez placeholder image and Oscar De La Hoya confirmed their desire to get a rematch against the 43-year-old veteran, who has not performed professionally since 2017.

In an interview with an internet program, Canelo, who is the current super middleweight champion by the World Boxing Association (AMB) and World Boxing Council (CMB), stated that he continues to dream of a new fight against Mayweather, to whom he lost in 2013 The setback for the North American is, even today, the only negative result for the 30-year-old Mexican, in 57 appearances in the 'noble art'.
While Canelo remains active, the other challenge received by Floyd came from another reference in the sport, who hasn't fought in 12 years. Like Alvarez, the veteran also suffered a defeat to Floyd in 2007, when he lost the welterweight belt.

On February 20, the fighter will perform against one of the biggest digital influencers in the world in a show that promises to give a great financial return to those involved.
Mayweather last acted in 2017. On that occasion, the athlete made history by facing the then double UFC champion, Conor McGregor, in a show that broke audience records. In the duel, the North American overcame the Irishman with a knockout in the 10th round.
