VIDEO: Event on Christmas Eve has a fight between fighters and fans get involved

The Christmas spirit was forgotten during AMC Fight Nights, on Thursday night (24), when Magomed Ismailov and Vladimir Mineev came face to face. The fighters were called to the cage and began a disturbance that ended in a general fight, including fans invading the fighting area and throwing various objects at the athletes. Ismailov and Mineev, who were not scheduled to fight at the event, were called to the cage for an interview, aiming to promote a possible fight between them. The athletes exchanged provocations until Ismailov threatened to attack Mineev, who reacted with a punch that grazed his rival's face. From then on the atmosphere became heavy and Ismailov decided to go after him, starting a huge mess. The inflamed fans invaded the cage, attacked the athletes and even threw objects into the fighting area (watch the video see below).

Before the huge mess, Mineev and Ismailov already had a rivalry within MMA. They faced each other at Fight Nights Global 90, in 2018. At the time, the clash ended in a draw and the promotion aimed to promote a rematch between them.

Mineev has a record of 14 wins, one loss and one draw. Ismailov, on the other hand, has a professional record of 17 wins, two legs and one draw.
