Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr tested negative in anti-doping tests. The fighters underwent evaluations by VADA (Voluntary Anti-Doping Association) after the exhibition fight, which took place on November 28th.
According to the executive director of the California Athletic Commission, Andy Foster, no illegal substances were found in the tests carried out by the boxing legends. At the post-fight press conference, Tyson admitted he smoked marijuana before the fight.

“Definitely yes (if he smoked before the fight)”, said Tyson at the press conference. “I can't stop smoking. I smoked during the fights. I just need to smoke, sorry. I'm a smoker, I smoke every day. I never stopped smoking. It’s just who I am,” Tyson said.
As it was an exhibition fight, the use of marijuana was previously permitted. Furthermore, California – where the fight took place – is one of several states in the United States that has legalized the use of medicinal and recreational marijuana.
On that occasion, the duel ended in a draw. However, Tyson revealed that he still wants to do other fights in the same format in the future. In fact, at 54 years old, the American recently used social media to say that he has already returned to training. Jones Jr, on the other hand, ruled out the possibility of returning to the ring after the fight.
