As reported by the website Super Fights last week, the main fight of Affliction 2 will be between Andrei Arlovski vs. Josh Barnett. The event takes place on October 11th, in Las Vegas, United States. The show's organizers confirmed the fight this Monday, as the Russian Fedor Emelianenko, who would be the star of the event, has a 180-day medical suspension due to an injury suffered to his hand during his victory over Tim Sylvia on July 19th

In the first edition of Affliction, Arlovski knocked out Bem Rothwell, while Barnett defeated Pedro Rizzo
