The comedian and youtuber Whindersson Nunes wants to return to the ring for another fight. This time, he must also face the youtuber Logan Paul at an event in Rio de Janeiro. However, the North American already has a commitment against multi-time boxing champion Floyd Mayweather and the duel against the Brazilian can only be negotiated for the second half of 2021.

The craze for internet celebrities in the ring gained momentum when the Jake Paul, Logan's brother, was the second most anticipated attraction on the fight program on the return of Mike Tyson to Boxing. On that occasion, he knocked out former NBA player Nate Robinson.
Before that, Whindersson himself had already debuted in amateur boxing. O youtuber, who has 41,5 million subscribers on his channel, beat an opponent known only as Mário, in the judges' decision, in September 2019 (watch here).
Whindersson and the challenge to Logan Paul
In June this year, Whindersson 'asked' for a fight against Logan Paul on his profile Twitter.
“I wanted Logan Paul and I in a ring, five minutes, fighting. (…) I need to get along with someone and I want it to be Logan Paul. Come on, I never asked you for anything, just 'a hand'. I don’t even understand what he’s saying, I wouldn’t even be able to offend me”, provoked the youtuber.
In case a duel does not progress, the Brazilian team's idea is to face another big name in boxing under amateur rules and in an exhibition format.
Logan Paul
Like Whindersson, American Logan Paul is an internet celebrity. He has 22,7 million followers on YouTube and gained some notoriety against the British and 'professional colleague' KSI, but ended up defeated by the judges' decision. Currently, he has agreed a new commitment against boxing legend, Floyd Mayweather, for January 20th.
