Frank Mir: demotes Fedor on ESPN's pound-for-pound list

Former UFC heavyweight champion, Frank mir, cast doubt on the criteria of a recent list created by ESPN about the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world. He argues that the term is often misunderstood among those who try to create such lists. Mir even stated that BJ and Georges St Pierre would beat Fedor in a fight in a lower weight category.

“It's not fair for Fedor to be at the top, I put him above him B.J. Penn and St. Pierre. I think Fedor can't beat BJ (Penn) at 155 pounds (70kg), he can't beat Georges St Pierre, and that was what it meant pound for pound. I mean if they were exactly the same size. I think some people are a little misunderstanding about this”, he said.

In the ESPN election, the Brazilian Anderson Silva he received 49% of the votes to take first place from Fedor, who came in second with 40% of the opinions.
