Fedor's brother announces retirement at age 31

The Emelianenko family is away from MMA. After Fedor, considered the greatest heavyweight of all time, announced his retirement in June, his brother, Aleksander, also hung up his gloves.

Fedor's younger brother announced this Wednesday that he will stop fighting at the age of 31. He leaves the sport, after nine years as a professional, with a record of 21 wins and six losses,

“Unfortunately, I am no longer able to fight in the ring due to health problems caused by old injuries. Of course, for an athlete like me, it's difficult to understand. I am grateful to my fans and friends for their support, for believing in me. His passion has always made me move forward and achieve new results”, said Aleksander, via the English magazine Fighters Only Magazine.
