One of the teachings of martial arts points out that defeat, when used well by an athlete, is not something bad but rather useful for evolution. Deiveson Figueiredo I knew how to deal with it well. After being defeated by Jussier formiga, in 2019, the current flyweight champion (56,7kg) not only transformed himself, but dominated the category. At the UFC 255, an event held this Saturday (21), in Las Vegas, USA, the Brazilian finished Alex Perez, in the first round, and he already knows that his next opponent will be Brandon Moreno, who also won in the attraction.

In the post-show press conference, Deiveson acknowledged that the Mexican is a worthy opponent, but, at the same time, he has no doubt that he will be another victim of his skills. Not satisfied, the champion guaranteed that the end of the next challenger will not be pleasant.

No UFC 255, Deiveson Figueiredo took less than two minutes to finish Alex Perez in the main event of the event. Brandon Moreno also stood out in the attraction, knocking out Brandon royval with one second remaining in the first round, in the duel that closed the preliminary card.
