Couldn't Rousimar Toquinho at UFC on FX 6, an event held on Friday night (14), in the city of Gold Coast, Australia. The Brazilian was unable to put his game into action against the Australian-born Cuban Hector Lombard and ended up knocked out in the first round. In the main fight of the night, which featured TUF coaches Australia vs. United Kingdom facing each other, better for the Englishman Ross Pearson, who took no notice of George Sotiropoulos and after three knockdowns, managed to win by technical knockout in the third round.

Lombard shows superiority and dominates fight against Toquinho
In the duel that was worth rehabilitation for both athletes, Lombard started the duel by taking the initiative, moving forward and releasing powerful hand strikes. In turn, Toquinho, visibly intimidated, tried to respond by kicking his rival in the knee.
Halfway through the first round, after a combination from Hector, Toquinho went to the ground, but he managed to regain his guard and hug his opponent's head until the Cuban resumed the fight again with striking.
Already with a cut on his eyebrow, Toquinho continued trying to work with kicks to Lombard's knee, but was quickly responded to with powerful boxing attacks.
After being trapped against the bars, Rousimar suffered from a new combination of punches from Hector and went to the ground. Without wasting time, the Cuban-born Australian continued the punishment on the ground until the Brazilian was knocked out.
Lombard asks for Bisping
after winning Rousimar Toquinho, in the interview after the fight, Lombard thanked the fans for their support, but is already looking ahead to his next fight. He asked for a duel against the Englishman Michael Bisping, who is scheduled to face Vitor belfort No. UFC Sao Paulo, the 17rd of January.
