“This is a fresh start in the lightweight division and I’m looking for the belt. Khabib has retired and the division is open. Ferguson, Poirier and Gaethje were interim champions, but the only champions besides Khabib were me and McGregor and I think that's the fight to make. The division is wide open, so why not? I still want this fight and I know a lot of fans also want to see it, especially with me back at lightweight. We were scheduled to fight and unfortunately I broke my foot. This happens in combat sports. Here I am again, training and working hard. Can not wait. I will beat Felder and I will go after the belt”, said Dos Anjos.

RDA explained that he decided to return to the lightweight division because he had a lot of contact with José Aldo, who swapped the featherweights (65,8kg) for the bantamweights (61,2kg), and it was his compatriot who recommended him the doctor responsible for making the weight more calmly.
