Bellator's promise at welterweight (up to 77kg.), Austin vanderford made his commitment against the Brazilian Vinícius de Jesus, held last Thursday (5), in Uncasville (USA) seem easy. After the confrontation, Austin confirmed his good form and justified the reason why the Bellator board is betting on the fighter for the company's future. At 30 years old, Vanderford, who has been a professional in MMA since March 2017, extended his winning streak to 10 and still doesn't know what it's like to lose in the sport.

Celebration on one side and sadness on the other. Beaten at Bellator 251, Vinícius, who made his debut with the company after almost two years, suffered his second setback in a row. His last performance had taken place in August, at Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) 88. On that occasion, the fighter was defeated by Jaleel Willis, also on points.
