The popularity of MMA increases every day in Brazil and, as a result, several illustrious fans of the sport appear on the artistic scene and even create works to pay homage to Brazilian athletes. This Tuesday (27), musician and composer Caetano Veloso released his new song called “A Bossa Nova é Foda”, where he talks about several Brazilian fighters.
“The old man transformed the myth of the sad races/into Minotaurs, junior gypsy,José Aldo, Lyoto Machida, Vitor belfort, Anderson Silva and the whole thing, bossa nova is awesome”, said an excerpt in the song.
Soon after Caetano presented the composition on Rede Globo's Programa do Jô, junior gypsy he used his Twitter account to demonstrate his satisfaction with the honor.
“Did you see that? I'm watching Jô and I was simply amazed, my name in a song by this icon of Brazilian music, Caetano Veloso”, wrote Cigano on the microblog.
