“I'm motivated and focused on the fight against Marreta. I want to fight for the belt, but I'm not thinking about Blachowicz. The fans will be divided. We Brazilians are very patriotic. I always supported Marreta in the fights he competed in, but now it will be different. We will put on a great fight and the winner will be close to the belt. He is a complicated fighter, specialized in Muay Thai and I will try to impose my boxing and take him down. Everyone knows what my strategy is. I have nothing to hide,” Glover said.

At 41 years old, Glover joked when explaining what the secret is to continuing to be successful in MMA, even at an advanced age,

“I feel great. I've been told that I'm healthier and fitter at 41 than I was at 37. Back then, I ate a lot of barbecue and drank a lot of cachaça. Today, I'm fine and people are noticing. My last fight was a great performance against Smith, who was beating everyone until he faced Jones”, he concluded.
