One of those responsible for the stardom of Conor McGregor in MMA, Dana White seems to have tired of meeting the Irishman's wishes. After resolving an arm wrestle with his pupil and confirming a fight against Dustin poirier for January 23rd, the 'boss' denied a personal request from 'Notório', who suggested the show on 'AT&T Stadium', from the Dallas Cowboys.

“We've had a good relationship with (Dallas Cowboys owner) (Jerry) Jones for a long time and we've talked about the stadium for a while. We don't go to any arena to fill a quarter or half capacity. So, when the public is ready (authorized) to return, we will have an audience again”, said the president, in conversation with the press after the UFC Ilha da Luta 6 weigh-in, this Friday (16).
Although the duel has not yet been made official by the company, McGregor and Poirier already have a verbal agreement. For White, then, the clash is already taken for granted.
“He (Conor) said yes. Dustin said yes. So, now it’s a matter of signing the contracts”, concluded the agent.
The clash between the Irishman and the North American, in addition to representing an important clash in the lightweight division (up to 70,3kg), will mark the repeat of a fight held in 2014. At the time, McGregor and Poirier were in the featherweight category. (up to 65,7kg.). The confrontation ended with a devastating knockout from Conor in the first round.
