If Dana White went on a collision course with Conor McGregor Because he exposed some private conversations, the UFC president once again criticized the fighter. Recently, the Irish star challenged Dustin poirier for a charity MMA fight, in December, in Ireland, on the same day as the fight between Israel adesanya e Paulo borrachinha, UFC 253, and that went badly.

To the North American website Sports Illustrated, the organization's representative considered the move made by the former featherweight (65,8kg) and lightweight (70,3kg) champion to be strange, but predictable, as it happens quite frequently.

“It was strange, but there is a pattern here. When the UFC is struggling to make a huge fight, McGregor shows up. Adesanya fought a fight that stopped the world, broke several records and McGregor starts to announce that he is going to fight this or that guy. He tried to steal Adesanya's attention. He always does that when there are big fights,” Dana said.

It is worth remembering that the episode to which Dana White referred took place in UFC 250, in June 2020. At the time, the champion Amanda nunes defended the featherweight belt by defeating Felicia spencer, and Conor McGregor took advantage of the importance of the event to announce his retirement.
