Brazilian Diego Nunes has many reasons to celebrate. The athlete from Rio Grande do Sul, who had lost two in his last three fights, made peace with his victory against Bart Palaszewski at UFC on FX 5. Furthermore, Nunes won the award for best fight at the event held this Friday (05) , in Minneapolis, in the United States.
The Brazilian pocketed, together with Palaszewski, a bonus of US$40, approximately R$81,2, for the fight that lasted 15 minutes and was closely contested.
In addition to Diego and Palaszewski, the North American Michael Johnson won the award for the best knockout against Danny Castillo, while Justin Edwards won the bonus for best submission for the connected guillotine on Josh Neer.
