Bad news for Brazilian MMA. Former challenger for the bantamweight belt (up to 61,2kg.), Bethe Correia, the 'Pitbull', is no longer part of the group of UFC athletes. After a recent negative record, the athlete ended up being released by the organization and is free to negotiate with another company. The information was released by MMA Fighting.

With one victory in the last five fights, Bethe ended up not resisting the bad phase and, after the defeat to Pannie kianzad, in July, his commitment was terminated and he ended his time in Ultimate with 11 appearances.
Pitbull debuted in the organization in December 2013. After winning her debut, the Brazilian needed two more fights to qualify for a title fight against the star of the time, Ronda Rousey. To face the legend, Bethe elevated the promotion of the event, which marked the main fight of UFC 190, held in Rio de Janeiro.
Even with the Tupiniquim fans in his favor, Correia was unable to withstand the pressure from the then champion and ended up succumbing to the North American with a knockout at the beginning of the first round.
After the setback to Ronda, Bethe was unable to stabilize herself within Ultimate. There were seven performances, with two wins, one draw and four setbacks.
The fighter spent almost two years away from MMA, between 2017 and 2019, due to an eye injury, which prevented her from competing professionally.
His last victory came in September last year, when he beat sijara eubanks by points in UFC Mexico City.
Currently, Bethe is 37 years old. In his professional MMA record, Pitbull won a total of 11 victories, had one draw and suffered five defeats.
