Company that managed Dream announces bankruptcy

The Japanese MMA market is unable to escape the crisis. The country, which was the main center of the sport in the last decade, lost another event this week. Real Entertainment, the company that managed Dream, announced its bankruptcy and the end of its activities. The show has not produced an edition since December of last year.

Dream held its first event on March 15, 2008, at Saitama Super Arena and its farewell took place on December 31, 2011, with Fedor Emelianenko defeating Satoshi Ishi, in the main event of the night. During its existence, Dream held 23 editions, all in Japanese territory.
